Welcome to the Miller County Community Forum!

Dear neighbors and friends,

Welcome to our online community space! This forum was created to help residents of Miller County stay connected, share information, and support each other. Whether you're from Highland Park, Cedar Glen, or any of our surrounding areas, this is your place to discuss local issues, ask questions, and build relationships with your neighbors.

Community Guidelines:

  • Be Respectful: We're all neighbors here. Treat others with kindness and respect.
  • Stay Local: Keep discussions relevant to Miller County and surrounding areas.
  • No Personal Attacks: Disagreements are fine, but keep them civil and constructive.
  • Protect Privacy: Don't share personal information about others without permission.
  • Emergency Information: For emergencies, call 911. This forum is not monitored 24/7.
  • Business Promotion: Light promotion of local businesses is okay, but no spam.

Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where we can all support each other as a community. If you have questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact the moderation team.

Question: Is there a way to get email notifications when someone responds to a thread I'm interested in?

Great question! Yes, you can subscribe to threads by clicking the "Watch this topic" button at the bottom of any thread. You'll get email notifications when new replies are posted.

You can also adjust your notification preferences in your profile settings. Let me know if you need help finding those options!

Hello everyone! Just moved to Cedar Glen last month and this forum is a wonderful way to get to know the area. Thank you for creating such a welcoming space.

Looking forward to participating in community discussions and maybe meeting some of you in person at local events!

Welcome to Miller County! Cedar Glen is a beautiful area - you picked a great place to settle. If you're interested in local history, I'd be happy to share some stories about our community. We have quite a rich heritage here.

There's also a monthly community potluck dinner at the Highland Park Community Center. Great way to meet neighbors!

Hi everyone, just joined the forum after moving to the Forest View area. Thanks for maintaining such a helpful community resource. Looking forward to getting involved!

Quick question - are the community guidelines still current? I notice this thread is from 2008. Just want to make sure I'm following the most up-to-date rules.
