🐱 LOST CAT - PLEASE HELP! 🐱

Name: Mittens
Breed: Orange tabby, male
Age: 3 years old
Size: Medium, about 12 lbs
Missing since: April 1st evening
Last seen: Elm Street near the community center

I'm desperately hoping someone has seen my cat Mittens. He's been missing for two days now and I'm getting really worried.

Mittens is a friendly orange tabby with white paws (hence the name). He's usually very social and comes running when you call his name. He's an indoor/outdoor cat but never stays out overnight.

He was wearing a blue collar with a bell and ID tag with my phone number (555-0198). Even if you just think you might have seen him, please let me know!

Thank you so much for keeping an eye out. My kids are heartbroken and I just want him home safe.

Jenny, I walk my dog through Highland Park every morning around 6 AM. I'll definitely keep an eye out for Mittens during our walks.

Have you checked with the animal shelter in San Bernardino? Sometimes cats travel further than we think, especially if they get spooked by something.

Also, try putting some of his favorite food and maybe a piece of your clothing outside. The scent might help guide him home.

Oh no! I hope Mittens comes home soon. I have three cats myself and I know how scary this must be.

I saw an orange cat yesterday evening around Forest View Drive, but I couldn't tell if it had white paws from where I was. It was near the old Miller property - you know, the one with all the overgrown trees?

I'll post about Mittens on the Miller County Facebook page too. The more people looking, the better!

Thank you both so much! Paul, I did call the shelter and they're going to call me if any orange cats come in.

Maria, I'm going to drive over to Forest View Drive this afternoon to look around. Do you remember what time you saw the cat? And which part of the old Miller property?

I've been walking around the neighborhood calling his name but no luck yet. 😢

Jenny, I do electrical work all over Miller County and I drive around a lot for jobs. I'll keep Mittens' description in my truck and watch for him.

One thing - I was doing some work on Oakwood Street yesterday and heard a cat meowing from what sounded like under a porch or maybe a crawl space. Couldn't see where exactly, but might be worth checking some of the older houses in that area?

🎉 MITTENS IS HOME! 🎉

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who helped look for him and kept him in your thoughts. Tom, you were right about checking under porches - we found him stuck under the Hendersons' deck about three blocks away. He was scared but completely fine!

Turns out he must have been chasing something and got himself wedged in a tight spot. He's been eating non-stop since we got him home and purring like a motor.

This community is absolutely amazing. I can't thank you all enough for your help and support. ❤️
