Hi everyone! Quick question - does anyone know the WiFi password for the Highland Park Community Center?

I'm helping set up some laptops for the senior computer class tomorrow and the staff person who usually handles this is out sick. The network shows up as "HPCC_Guest" but it's password protected.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Steve! Thanks for helping out with the computer class.

Network: HPCC_Guest
Password: Miller2010

The password gets changed every few months for security, so this one should be good until September.

Let me know if you have any trouble connecting!

Steve, I'm in that computer class! Really looking forward to tomorrow's session.

I've been practicing what we learned last week on my grandson's laptop. This internet thing is pretty amazing once you get the hang of it.

See you tomorrow!

That's so cool that you're teaching computer classes to seniors! My grandpa keeps asking me to show him "the Google" but I never have time to sit down and really explain it properly.

Maybe I should suggest he sign up for your next session?

Steve, the computer classes you run are such a valuable service to our community! We get seniors coming into the library all the time asking for help with basic computer skills.

Have you considered doing a session on email? That seems to be what most people are struggling with after they learn the basics.

Also, tech_teenager - definitely have your grandpa sign up! The classes fill up fast because Steve does such a great job making it understandable for beginners.

Thanks Brenda, the password worked perfectly! The computer class went great today - we had 8 people and everyone successfully sent their first email.

Harold, you did excellent work today! I think you're ready for next week's lesson on web browsing.

Mary, that's a great suggestion about focusing more on email. I think that's what people will find most practical for staying in touch with family.

tech_teenager - absolutely bring your grandpa to the next session! We start a new beginner class the first Tuesday of every month.
