Hey everyone! My family just moved to Miller County from LA and we're looking for some good local restaurants and cafes. We love trying new places!

So far we've tried:

  • Miller's Diner on Main Street (decent breakfast)
  • Highland Pizza (pretty good, kids loved it)

What are your favorite local spots? We're especially interested in:

  • Family-friendly places
  • Good coffee shops
  • Any hidden gems!

Thanks in advance for the recommendations!

Welcome to Miller County! You picked a great place to live.

For coffee, you absolutely MUST try Cedar Glen Coffee House. It's been family-owned since 1987 and they roast their own beans. Sarah makes the best blueberry muffins you've ever had.

Also check out Tony's Italian Kitchen near the courthouse - authentic recipes passed down for generations. Perfect for date nights!

Second this recommendation! Cedar Glen Coffee is wonderful. The owner, Jim, is such a sweet man and really cares about the community.

For family dining, I'd also suggest:

  • Mountain View Grill - Great steaks and they have a kids menu
  • Sunrise Cafe - Best pancakes in the county, open early
  • El Rancho Mexican Food - Authentic and very reasonably priced

Thanks for asking about local businesses! As someone who owns a shop downtown, I really appreciate when residents support local establishments.

A few more suggestions:

  • The Corner Bistro - New place, great sandwiches and salads
  • Miller County BBQ - If you like barbecue, this is the place
  • Sweet Dreams Bakery - Amazing cakes and pastries

Most of our local places are closed Sundays and close early during the week, so plan accordingly!
