Hi everyone, I'm having a really weird issue with the forum or maybe the website.

Earlier today when I was browsing around, I somehow ended up on a page that looked like some kind of police evidence archive? It had a black background with green text and looked really official and scary. There were files with timestamps and everything looked like real police documents.

The URL was something like /evidence/ and I remember seeing a link to something called "scene_reconstruction_SR-2010-047" but I clicked away because it freaked me out. Now I can't find it again and I'm wondering if this was some kind of mistake or if the website got hacked?

Has anyone else seen anything like this? I'm a little concerned about what kind of content might be on our community website.

Hi Deborah,

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. What you're describing sounds like there might be some server files that got mixed up during a recent maintenance update. Sometimes when we're working on different client projects, files can end up in the wrong directories temporarily.

This is definitely not supposed to be accessible through the community website and I apologize for any confusion or concern this may have caused.

To help me troubleshoot this issue properly, could you let me know what area of Miller County you're in? I'd like to come by and check your computer to make sure there's no caching issue or other technical problem on your end that might be causing these files to display incorrectly.

I'll be doing some server maintenance this weekend to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Just wanted to chime in - I tried accessing /evidence/ after reading this thread and the link goes nowhere for me. Just gets a "page not found" error.

Sounds like Albert got it cleaned up quickly. Good catch, Deborah!

That does sound pretty unsettling, Deborah. Glad it was just a technical mix-up!

Albert, you do such great work maintaining our community website. Thanks for staying on top of these issues.
